(Left image) It's always a fun time in Dorset at the Dorset Snoball Winter Carnival. Dorset is found along Higway 35 near Huntsville. In this picture a volunteer gets ready to rock with some junk bling. You can see the junk mobile in the background. This carnival also features snow mobile racing across open water.

Garden Variety Show
(Right image) Jonny and Dylan spent a wonderful week performing at schools in the Calgary area as well as taking part in the Garden Variety Show hosted by Jimbo Jordan at the Loose Moose Theatre. The show also featured Aytahn Ross, Dan the One Man Band and magician Malcolm Russell.

Historica Dominion Institute
(Right image) Dangerous Derek performs a drum solo for Junkyard Symphony's Recycle Rock at the Historica Dominion Institute in Ottawa. About sixty of Canada's brightest young minds were in attendance to watch the show. The Historica Foundation of Canada was launched in October 1999 with a mission to help all Canadians come to know the fascinating stories that make our country unique.

(Left image) It was a wonderful sunny day and a great day to get out and watch a show. Put on by the Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce, the residents of Carelton Place were treated to a show by Junkyard Symphony and several local performers.

Canada Day Festivites Petrie Island, Ottawa
(Right image) Junkyard Jonny shows the girls that boys just want to have fun too. It was a beautiful day at the beach, especially at the main stage where Junkyard Symphony and other local acts such as Rays Reptiles entertained the crowd with their original entertainment. It's a fun place to be if you want to avoid the massive crowds of Parliament Hill. Petrie Island is a complex of islands and wetlands located on the south shore of the Ottawa River.

Roy Duncan Park Phase 2 completeion
(Right image) Junkyard Jonny turns himself into a junk monster at Roy Duncan Park Phase 2 Completetion organised by the Westboro Beach Community Association. There was great weather and a great turnout. Even Mayor Jim Watson was there, some firefighters and other local performers. Children had the opportunity to jam on the junk after the show. The Westboro Beach Community Association does lots of fabulous things for the community.

Fort MacMurray Junebug Children's Festival.
(Right image) Junkyard Jonny holds the basketball net for a volunteer at the Junebug Children's Festival in Fort MacMurray, Alberta. Put on by the Hub Family Resource Centre, The Children's Festival attracted many eager children in the busy northern Alberta City. The festival is held in the town's impressive Recreation Centre on MacDonald Isalnd, which includes indoor ice-rinks, gyms, a pool and even an extensive water park.

Museum of Nature                  Fright Nights

(Left image) Junkyard Jonny Juggles Jugs on top the Terrible Tower of Trash for a large crowd at the Museum of Nature. The Museum of Naure was having a 'Talk to the Specialists' day so visitors had a chance to talk to Jonny and learn how he does those crazy stunts. The Museum of Naure has some wonderful new exhibits. It's definitely worth taking the kids the kids there for a day of fun and education.
Special note: There is an environmental film festival at the musuem from April 5 to 8, 2011. Don't miss these thought-provoking productions.

Fright Nights
(Right image) Jonny and Tony had some monster shows at the PNE's Fright Nights in Vancouver. Sharing the stage with the Monsters of Scholck fron Niagara Falls, JYS performed 4 shows a night in the Famous Slayers Theatre. It was a combination well worth watching. Local celebrity Samantha Mack manged to capture JYS on video.

(Left image) Recycle Ross and Duct Tape Dayv had a fatastic show at the Albion Heatherington Recreation Centre. The Circo-Eco is a cool new show that features junk bass and recycled dj beats instead of junk drums to give Junkyard Symphony some instrumental variety.

Spencerville Fair
(Right image) Junkyard Jonny and Trashcan Tony had great shows at the Spencerville fair playing across from the poultry barn with hay bail seats to comfort their audience. Tom Cochrane played the main stage and long time friends Splash and Boots also shared the courtyard stage with Junkyard Symphony. Spencerville is quite small but the fair is well known and is very well attended.

Croatian Vacation
(Right image) Junkyard Jonny and Trashcan Tony enjoy fun in the sun with friends as they spend their days swimming in the Adriatic Sea, their afternoons watching world cup football and their nights performing shows in the quaint towns of Split and Sebenik, Croaita. Croatia is a beautiful country with lots of friendly people, islands, beaches and movie stars with big boats.

(Left image) Kicking off the first leg of thier European tour, Junkyard Jonny and Trashcan Tony are having fun making lots of new friends and fans in Skopje, Macedonia. Next on the bill is Split and Sebenik, Croatia. The show works well internationaly as there is no need for Jonny to talk. He just whistles.

Museum of Nature Grand Re-opening
(Right image) Thousands of people packed into the Museum of Nature for the grand re-opening. Junkyard Symphony dazzled the crowd to a packed room on the fourth floor. The elevator ride was slow, but the show was worth it. Here you can see Junkyard Jonny sword-playing with a volunteer.

Anniversary on Parliament Hill
(Left image) There were three thousand excited girls watching Junkyard Symphony on Saturday as they performed their show successfuly 9 times over the course of the afternoon. It was quite a fun filled day, with native dancers and performers of all kinds. The only kink was that not one of the 50 porta-potties were reserved for men. It was ladies only at this event.

(Right image) Junkyard Symphony's Terrific Trio had an awesome time performing in Robson Sqaure for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. JYS welcomed a new member, Recycle Rose, who performed amazingly. Junkyard Jonny managed to do a great job while performing in a wheelchair after having survived a terrible car accident just one week before the show.
